WE ARE PLANTING!
A new beginning for Poliziano.
For three days now we have been planting 8 new hectares of Sangiovese at ‘I Pozzi’; a new property of the company, where we started working in 2017 and we are finally arriving at the last vineyards. We are very hopeful because in addition to a breathtaking view of Montepulciano, San Biagio side, this area has one of the best lands we have ever touched!
The weather was absolutely perfect and allowed us to plant almost 10,000 plants a day !!
Usually February is a bit early to plant, but given the perturbations that are happening in Europe and the obvious change of air, we expect rain in the next few weeks, which would be a real healthy touch for the new plants!

While we were designing the new rows of vineyards we found a 10 cent coin dated 1866. In fact, it represents Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy, the first king of Italy, on the back.
Will it be an auspicious sign?
